I came to marketing from engineering, and it shows

My degree is in Materials Science and Engineering from KUET, and my first industrial work was on factory floors: production, quality assurance, and technical documentation at BRB Cable, Khulna Shipyard, and BSRM Steel. That training is why I read a specification before I write a headline, and why I’d rather ship a shorter article than an unverifiable one.

At the end of 2023 I stopped taking client work to finish that degree properly rather than around the edges of a freelance calendar. I spent the same period formalizing what agency work had taught me by feel: certifying in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and content marketing, so that when I returned to marketing full-time I brought measurement discipline to it, not just output.

I’m now at TaskCall, an incident management platform, working across demand generation and sales. Before that I spent a year at Eagle 3D Streaming, a cloud platform for Unreal Engine pixel streaming, where I owned SEO strategy, blog and social content, the monthly workshop and podcast programmes, website QA, and analytics. I also consult on SEO for ProSkill Workforce in Singapore.

Eagle 3D Streaming and ProSkill were both remote, and neither in my own timezone: Dallas sits eleven hours behind me, Singapore two ahead. That constraint shaped how I work: briefs specific enough to survive an overnight reply gap, and documentation written so nobody has to wait for me to explain it.

I also build things to understand them. Tally, an offline Android expense tracker, exists because I wanted to know what shipping software actually costs someone who doesn’t write code.
